Chaintech Apogee GeForce 6800 Ultra and XFX GeForce 6800 Ultra run slightly higher at
425-450 core
1200 Mem

Probably pre-clocked by the manufacturers.

Thanks, but we are talking 6800GTs, not ultras. The Gainward Golden sample is a GT that runs at nvidia reference Ultra speeds by default.

i was just impressed that somebody has actually OCed a GT to ultra values lol. loads of people say it can happen ive never seen it happen though.

So far, my best score on 3DMark03 is 13147 with Directx 9b and 61.77 forceware. Card is OC'ed to 423/1200. Memory bandwidth seems to help more than Core speed.

Asus V9999GT overclock results
The GPU is 6800GT, so you can expect close to Ultra speeds, as for 2.8ns memory - 700 is default while 800 should be about top, if you get lucky

My Albatron 6800GT - 410/1120 nVidia's "suggested" o/c - stable, 420/1150 crashes last 3Dm05 test
Now running 24/7 @400/1100 - "Ultra" is good enough

5330 3dmarks05 with AXP 3200+

there is the 256mb ddr3 version too.

I don't consider that a full GT card. for the price of that card you could get a REAL GT.
