    I want details!!!

    I only use the "detail" view with windows explorer. I have to manually go through each folder with windows XP and switch the view from the default setting which is "tiles" to "details". This gets very old. Is there some way to tell windows that I want all folders to have the detailed view in one step?

    Open Windows explorer and set the view you want , click tools---folder options---view---apply to all folders. Close explorer and reopen and you will have the same view in every folder you open.
