    What laptop has best battery life

    I am looking for a laptop that has about 8 hours of life or so it doesn't have to superfast I mainly will use it for GPS and internet surfing if you have any good candidates let me know I am guessing it would be a Centrino based CPU.

    Any laptop that allows two batteries to be installed will be superior to any single battery model. This assumes you will be able to carry around the extra few pounds from the second battery.

    I dunno about 8 hours but the Centrino as well as the Athlon64's have pretty decent battery life providing they're not under load.
