Or for $1 more you could get a 530W Fortron:

How reliable are they for overclocking.

I was looking at the ThermalTake Purepower Silent 480w

I have a ThermalTake Xaser III Skull *Screwless*

The Fortron/Sparkle supplies have a good reputation in the overclocking comminity. Many models also have pots inside that allow some of the voltages to be adjusted (probably breaks the warranty)( and will fry parts if you're not careful or don't know what you are doing).
    Enjoy!

    Fortron=Good stuff

When I build for someone I almost always try to go with a Sparkle/Fortron PS.

All of these are good PSU recommendations. Just for information the Sparkle 'Q' line has adjustable 'pots' so that you can re-route more power to each rail for overclocking (usually the 3.3v rail), given this is usually only used in watercooling solutions from what I have read (correct me if im wrong) for EXTREME overclocking (like oc'ing a mobile 2500+ to 3ghz). Such as this one. There's prob. more powerfull wattage ones out there as well than 350 watts. This is just an example.

This PSU has adjustable pots for the 5v 12v AND 3.3v rails, so getting 3.2v vdimm is possible without modding your board, just beefing up the 3.3v rail
This seems to be for the more experienced overclocker, so I have not tried it.... yet.

As said before, Sparkle is a very reliable brand, and there lower end PSU's are pretty cheap.

    ShadeZeRO-

If you want a totally reliable PSU, then I would recommend the Turbo Cool 510 Deluxe PSU from PC Power & Cooling, Inc. It is the best IMHO. Here's the link to the info about it:

    http://www.pcpowercooling.com/about/...whatnew510.htm

It comes with a 5-year warranty. I know that they have very good build quality since I have one of their older models that has been in use for over 7-years and is still going strong! So my endorsement of their product line is mostly based on my own personal experience. I've always insisted on using their PSUs whenever I do a quality build were it is "Mission Critical" to have the system run 24/7 for clients. I've found that most of these other brands (Antec, Enermax, Thermal Take, Zalman, etc.) always come too short of what their printed specs are supposed to be. Yes, I've had these so called "top of the line" PSUs come in at the shop at work with blown capacitors and rectifiers and smelling of burnt parts.

So, if you want a PSU that does not compromise on build quality then buy the Turbo Cool 510 Deluxe. You'll have the peace of mind that it will serve your intended purpose which is to build a system with the best quality components. Good luck!

LOL don't chuckle but I'm sporting a 9 year old Tiger PS lol....... That should count for something cuz I've also grounded myself on it to the case three times (ow!!) and it still works like a charm.

Yeah PC P&C make the best PSUs, but you pay a hell of a premium for them. The Fortron I linked to is probably your best bet, but even that is $15 over your $60 budget.

Lol, i dont have $15 right now, im saving up for my cars body kit

But, im getting the Thermaltake butterfly. I enjoyed all of thermaltakes products and from the reviews i've read it seems that it is a very good and reliable PSU.

For only $55 + Shipping, i think it is a great value (because most sites have it for like $70+

    ^ Forget that...
    its 55 + shipping...i thought shipping would be cheap...but noooo....its 18 for shipping making it like 74ish...

ThermalTake make decent PSUs by all accounts. I'm not one for looks over function really, but if you think it looks good and you can find it for a good price that's another option. I'd still take the Fortron though
