Please do. While you may know a thing or two about graphics hardware, don't presume to know why I do things on this site outside of the forums. If you've ever worked in print or web publishing you would know that just because you have a question for a company doesn't mean they have to answer to you.

I think I should apologize to Sysopt since it was my original question about Nvidia pushing one shader model over another that brought all this on.

However, I still think it was a valid question, and human nature is such that we're far more likely to ask questions about things we don't really understand or agree with than those we do. Any time an IHV makes a decision we agree with they're obviously just doing the right and obvious thing, and any other choice would be foolhardy.

Excepting the GfFX, Nvidia hasn't made a major misstep since the original TNT.

Still, thanks for the interview, it was a good read even if it did raise as many questions as it answered.

This is precisely why I started a thread based on the interview, for people to discuss the issues and pose questions to spark discussions, which is what these forums are all about, sharing knowledge. No apologies are necessary for asking a legitmate and respectful question.

This is a general statement, not to Rugor specifically.

I guess if he wanted to he could use a free anonymous proxy and join again. But then we'd probably know who it was with that kind of attitude. What really makes those guys mad is calmly outsmarting them. Heh I think I might have made him a little too mad.
