    WATER COOLING QUESTION

i'm setting up a water cooling system and i am having trouble finding the right pump.. here are the parts:

    Polarflo sf cpu water block
polarflo vga and chipset water block
    1/2" tubing
    duel 120mm radiator

the polarflo cpu block says i at least need 300 gph.. is 500 over kill?..and the chipset and vga are going to use duel tubing..is that ok?

That's probably the best place to ask with the most people who are willing to help who know what they are talking about generally when it comes to watercooling.

    What he said.

For starters, the maximum gph is not going to determine the flowrate of your system. The flowrate will be a function of how restrictive your setup is, and how well your pump performs at that level of restriction. It is not uncommon for "500 gph" pumps to push 70 gph through watercooling setups.

Just start reading around the overclockers.com forums, and you'll be well on the road to getting a good setup built.
This is where my signature would go if I wasn't so lazy.
