Peltier Qustions
What would be your main concern about peltier cooling besides how much power they suck up and the condesation?? I was wanting one for my P4C 2.4 but wasnt sure... would it be good for a comp that stays on 24/7?? is there a thing of a processor gettin too cold?? and where would i get the cold plate and water block for one?? thanks

i really wouldn't recommend a peltier in a place as humid as Florida. your dew point is much higher than other places. that means condensation happens at a higher temp. water + cpu = death
You need to have extra case fans to get rid of the heat that the peltier produces.
I think you would be better off with just a plain water cooling system if anything.

i am going water cool... but as i was searching for a water block i seen swiftech had one with a peltier in it... interested me so i did a search and seen a DIY peltier setup... to take care of the condsation, he used RTV silicon, Neoprene, and Conformal.. but he had a water block and a cold plate for the peltier but he didnt mention where he got it from.... anyone know where i can get one?? also he really didnt mention much about a power supply for it.. i know they suck alot juice so a bigger power supply woud be needed... i can just plug it into my CPU PSU right?? also is it good for a comp that runs 24/7??? will it get too cold? below zero?

Peltiers are only a little better than great watercooling. I would recommend researching good watercooling setups and putting one of them together first.
The www.overclockers.com forums and www.procooling.com are great resources.
PM me with questions, I don't stop in here a lot.
This is where my signature would go if I wasn't so lazy.

If you want to get subzero temps you need phase change cooling (a refrigerator for your CPU). Its very expensive. It is possible to "roll your own" (Yes, BigJakk, I'm still looking at my dehumidifier with evil thoughts) but you need to be intemately acquainted with refrigeration systems. If you don't know how to braze/silver solder or charge a corpressor I'd avoid the home grown angle. Condensation is still a huge concern, especially in Florida.
If you want to buy a setup search for Prometeia or Vaporchill.
