Outlook antispam & FTP programs
I am looking for free antispam software for Outlook if anyone knows of any and small free FTP program. As of a while ago a new version of WS_FTP has more user stipulations put in it.
Thanks

chubtub, you can use IE as an ftp program. What stipulations does ws_ftp have, that you don't like?
Have you looked into the lite version?

Yep I beleive it is the lite version that makes you fill out you life history now. The past versions just had a couple check boxes that you needed to select.
I did not know that you could use IE as an FTP. Have any pointers t get started using IE for FTP?

yep, just point it to your ftp, so if it was for www.yourdomain.com just make the browser go to ftp.yourdomain.com.
or, if its an ip address, like 123.456.789.012, then enter it like this ftp://123.456.789.012 then when it loads, just right click, and choose log-in as.
I might have an old version of ftp_lite lying around somewhere, is it still legal to load now, or do you have to use their new versions?

Wow that is scary, just did it and got the whole site with about half of it open. Going to have to lock things down.

See, you learned 2 new things today.
1: How to use IE for FTP
2: Your site is not nearly secure enough

AceFTP3 freeware is pretty good. you can get rid of the ads with the HOSTS file
only thing remaining is one screen that pops up when you close it

Ok I tryed the other ones which worked great for me. In the end I ended up using IE because the person that I was working with really has not a clue about computers.
Thanks all fro your help.

WS_FTPLE licensing is now specific to educational institutions only. For personal use you have to go to the PRO version.

Gone Fishin'
I use an old version of wsftp lite and never install it in windows. It's easy to move around that way without changing settings. You just need to create a separate file to keep it in. The only advantage over IE is that it will auto logon (assuming your ISP has the common decency to set at least that level of protection) and the explorer is dual pane. To do that with IE is just more fiddleware.
