Aren't BellSouth and SBC (SouthWestern Bell) the same?

You left out NTL and BT for our friends across the pond

I voted 'other' - at home it's Comcast, but at school we're served by Arknet. However I may switch to Cox soon, in my dorm room (that just sounds so wrong!).

    NTL

as an aside; there used to be a complaints site called NThellworld that was setup by a disgruntled NTL customer, It's where everyone went to air their gripes about the poor ...nay... dispicable "customer service", it grew so big and popular (with regular appearances in the national press) that NTL was forced to buy it at a premium, they shut it down claiming they would bring order to the chaos and at the same time referb the site! That was 3 years ago!

BTW: AOL and Freeserve are fairly popular among the uninitiated over here too!

Got comcast here, couldn't get DSL ( had SBC before moving here.) Won't ever go back to dial up and this is the only other option. Never had a complaint though, fast, always on and never seems to go down.
