I know it happened at the end of burning because the progress bar is at 100%.

At the end of the burning process, when progress bar is at 99%, the buffer indicator decreases. When the buffer indication reaches 0%, Nero would give me a buffer under run error. Isn't that strange?

You mean, Nero spawns a message box that says "Buffer underrun was avoided X times", right? That doesn't say anything other than the number of errors ocurred, it doesn't say when they happened, and it's always displayed on the end of the burning process. Anyway, does that happen while copying CDs or it also happens when you record from the HD? Check if DMA is enabled for the CD drives.

How is the burner connected? Is it primary slave?
just to let you know the burner is primary slave and was writing 24x from HD to CDR
    thanks again

But you're unable to burn faster, either HD to CD or CD to CD, right? Check if DMA is enabled for the CD drives.
