Even if you get a multi locked 2500 you can bump the FSB to 200. At normal multi 11X you will get 2.2GHz. I'd try www.overclockers.co.uk they seem to have the 'old' non locked ones but I'd call first. As for the XP2600 I'd expect most are multi locked as they are very new.... Ask for the chip codes and if it's below week 43 then you will very likely have an un-multi-locked CPU.

XP2500+ is still fine, higher multipliers are locked but lower down are still adjustable if im right on what im reading, which is what most overclockers want anyways due to the advantages of FSB o/c over bumping up the multi

XP2500 for sure. The XP2600 is great too. But the 2500 will give you higher OC speeds, if you are planning on OCing. Read the user reviews on www.newegg.com, you will get the straight scoop there. Purely biased opinons of course! =)

i was just gonna suggest some cooling but if it ain't got the holes you can't. So how about the Coolermaster Aero 7 Lite that will allow you to run at full whack if clocking and you can turn it down when your not.
