    Help with USB/Firewire install

I am at the inlaws and trying to install a USB/1394 controller but nobody has the Win98 SE disc.
I need to get the following files to make the USB controller work

    openhci.sys
    usbd.sys
    usbhub.sys
    usbui.dll

Anyone know where to find them. They make reference to them in MS support/knowledge base but I can not find any place where to download them?

I do not know what Mobo is installed other than it has a VIA chipset.

    Any help would be appreciated.

On the subject, because this is a combo USB/1394 board, will it work if I only install the USB drivers for it? It is a SIIG USB 2.0 & Firewire Combo Adapter. I just need to get the USB to work to burn a 700 MB file to an external CD burner.

Yeah - the USB will work alone.

Search the hard drive for this:

    BASE*.CAB

If you find a few of those, you have found your Win98 folder. When prompted for files, browse to that folder.

    I'm sending you the files.

Thanks BiPolar. That worked out just fine.
