I vote for Halo (despite the 'few' bugs it has).

CoD
I found Halo to be over-rated, repetetive, and immensley boring

Both are very good games! If you aint played Halo before...and uve got a pretty strong system go for Halo....its a bit more original!

Even with a strong system your not guaranteed to avoid the massive performance crippling bugs in Halo, for crying alound i get slowdown on a r9800 Pro

I haven't played COD, I have played and own Halo, but I wouldnt' recommend it. It has its fun moments, but it has more boring moments than it should have. Then of course there is the performance issue.

CoD - Halo runs like **** on most systems unless you get lucky. It doesn't matter how fast the system is, it just matters if your one of the few that has a combination of hardware that it will like, and not many have that and the power it needs as well. Also CoD has a really good SP campaign set (if a bit short) and a lot of people are raving about multiplayer.

I really enjoy CoD's MP mode... too much fun.
Doesn't require the BF1942 teamwork, but if you land with ppl who know how to play, you'll have a blast.

I have Halo: Combat Evolved and Jedi Academy. The multiplay mode for Jedi Academy is a boring and ridiculous version. I often play Halo multiplayer and I don't mind the lag. As I like new things for a multiplayer mode, I really appreciate Halo for its new and revolutionary version.
My PC supports Halo very well and I don't seem to encounter anything wrong with it. I only experience lag when I'm in multiplayer mode as I'm the only Asian player in foreign servers. Hahahahahahaha...
I'm currently using GeForce 4 MX 440 128MB DDR and Pentium 4 2.4B GHz. My DDRRAM is 512MB and I got a 40GB Hitachi harddrive. If you have the system above, you can play Halo very well. No problem!
You need to update the game when you are playing the multiplayer mode.
