    Radeon 9600Pro+Abit BX6 Rev2

Hey, Anybody. Will this combo work?
The MOBO supports 2X and the card can operate there but what about the voltages? YEAH YEAH I know. upgrade the MOBO. But I don't wanna hassle with that right now. i just want FLTSM 2004 to run a better than 25fps. Or a suggestion of a 128m card that will work on this MOBO. Thanks Gents

No, a 9600 will NOT work with that motherboard. A 9600 Pro maximum voltage is 1.5V (as listed on ATI's website). Even if it did work, it wouldn't be worth it (seeing as that motherboard can only support slot one PII's). Your better off looking for a Geforce 2 GTS. Here's one for $47: http://www.logicalplus.com/visgefgt32dd2.html

That's about the best that motherboard can support. Sorry.

BOBO',yeah I was afraid of that conflict. it's a 3.3 volt deal on the board. But I've got a pIII 800 OC'd to 850 in it now for a couple of years with no problem. Guess I'll have to lower my expectations on the card til I'm ready to get a new machine

Here's a very nice card that should work with your motherboard: http://www.pricewatch.com/s/b.asp?d=3440290

It's a 8500 128 meg. You should be fine with it.
