I would KILL to have a processor that stays this cool and still be stable and perform as well as it did.

sorry to hear about your probs. i just
installed an athlon xp-m 1800+ and so
far it's working great (used- ebay)
    palomino core...
was your chip made on a monday?

i've got it oc'd to 1725Mhz with temps
@ 40C idle and 48-49C load. i was able to monkey with my voltage and it's very stable (1.89v), tho nowhere near as cool as your 2500+.

what's weird tho: MBM5 displays cpu temp 4-5degC hotter than aida32.

I've been able to run a 2600 mobile at 200FSB on the following boards with no issues whatsoever.

    EPOX 8RDA+
    ABIT NF7-S
    MSI K7N2 Delta-L

Those are the only ones i've tried and all have been successfull.

oops, didn't realize this was an old thread brought back from the dead.
