    Memory

    Does it matter what brand of memory I get, I mean there are the same speed and type memory with like a $100 difference I f I get 2 512MB
    P4 3.0Ghz
    512 DDR
    80 Gig
    GeFource Fx 5900
    Audigy 2 Platinum
    Creative 6.1 6600

    Whats not to love

    You want the memory to be running at the same FSB as the CPU, if t doesn't, either one will bottleneck your system.

    Corsair is supposed to be a good brand.

    Corsair are good, but overpriced and there seem to be a fair few compatibility issues with them too.

    Ive said it before and i'll say it again. Crucial, cheap, good quality, high performance, life tiem warranty
