    Maxtor or Seagate SATA?

    whats better?
the 120gb maxtor or the 120 gb seagate,on the sata side?
(i know seagate is less noisy..but what about overall performance?)

got the maxtor 120 uata 133 as my main drive, and WD 36 gig raptor.
the raptor kick's a** when loading game files such as UT II.
    but still like the maxtor

    ran sandra on both drives,
maxtor and the raptor were close in most catagories, cept access times, 8ms versus 3-4 ms!!

indexed out at 29000+- versus 27000+-, (awful low, got to look at my settings)
real world = loading UT II at Waterfront- maxtor = 13 seconds, WD = 8 seconds, and that is a small file!!! (official timing according to seiko_on_wrist v.1)

forget the benchmarks, look at real world.
