    Can't save password in DUN

My friend can't save her password when she connects to the internet. The save password check box is grayed out in the dial up connection window. I tried deleteing her connection and making a new one, but the same thing happens with the new connection. Its a pain to have to type your password every time you want to connect.
    Her setup:
    Windows 98 SE
    Using a local ISP

Install client for microsoft networks - It enables the password storing.

OK, so all I do is open Control Panel, Network, under Configuration tab hit add; "Client" and thats it?

that's about the size of it.

I think you can still use windows logon and have it save passwords. If you leave it on "client for microsoft networks" logon, then it will prompt for a username and password at logon. of course, you could also use tweakui to automatically input that for you.
