Which reminds me. I bought GTA 3 a while back, but I could never get into it. It's just collecting dust here... wonder if I should maybe give it another run... ?

I posted a link to this last week, supposed to be a little bit unstable

The last time I heard about this, they claimed it was 80% complete - yeah, right. To get it to work, the first player (only worked with 2, hardly multiplayer) had to get in the vehicle that the second player wanted to drive, then get out of it, hit some key combination and then find a car for themselves. Like Jakk said, it was hideously unstable - you could crash the game by driving into each other

It isnt even a major reworkign of the code, theyve just enabled the exisiting few lines of MP cose that existed in GTA3 originally

So there's no point hoping for something special then?

You should give it a chance.. I loved it, personally.

Maybe I should, since I spent hard-earned money on it. I've been a little bit strung-out on BF 1942 and the mods. The TKers have really pissed me off lately though. I wanna reach through all that cable and strangle the little brats...

GTA 3.
x51 is your computer good?
because gta3 has some built in code that wont let it run on graphics cards with less than 16mb ram.

It's alright, I guess. Not top-notch stuff. AMD XP2500+, ATI 9800 Pro, Audigy 2, Epox 8RDA+ motherboard, 1 GB PC3200 RAM @ 166 mhz fsb/mem... you know, the usual blabla. Still, there is not much out there that will bring it to its knees. I will most certainly have to buy DOOM III, though, just to see what all the fuss is about. I've NEVER played any of the previous DOOM's. Oddly, I used to never be much of a gamer, but now that I'm almost 40, that is all I do, it seems.
