    tv causes monitor flicker

    I have a 13" TV next to my PC monitor. When the TV is on, my monitor flickers. I tried tweaking the refresh rates, but all the settings still flicker. Anyone have any suggestions?

    TV sets aren't nearly as well shielded as monitors are. Chances are the TV radiates an electromagnetic field that disturbs the monitor next to it. Cure? Stick a grounded sheet of metal inbetween, or put them further apart.
