If you need a PCI video card, it's a good choice. AGP is much better though.

it depends.
1. what is your current system specs.
2. Are you upgrading your card or getting a new one. If you are getting a new from scratch then they are good cards. but if you are upgrading from say a Geforce 2 card then save your cash as there virtually the same card.

I had mx cards. I had a g4 mx......gave me a load of troubles. It was bad for gaming.
Lost 10,000 miles from home and loving it!!

creative soundblaster 16
56x cdrom
48x18x48 cd-rw
16x hi-val dvd rom

If you got the capability to go AGp, its a pretty bland card, if your stuck with PCI though its one of the better ones availiable to you

But because I was also considering price I went with PCI

from what i have seen. mx cards dont overclock much so i dont think you really need a fan for it

But it would look so much nicer with a fan on it other then the ugly grey heatsink that's on there now.
