    what's in my stomach?

right now i'm just violently ill (stomach flu), i'm puking all the time. i noticed that i keep puking up a YELLOW solution of things. i've been puking for several hours so all the food is gone but i'm still puking up yellow liquid even though i'm only drinking water.

what is this yellow liquid in my stomach?

bile should only be in the pancreas and small intestine though.... do you think i should see a doctor about this?

Stomach acids and bile... the doc can't do a thing about it... flu is viral... antibiotics are useless. Rinse your mouth with water to keep the acids from corroding your teeth. Couple days you'll be ready for anything.

Unless you suspect food poisoning rather than flu... then they could pump you out, but you're probably way beyond that stage now

i pumped myself out thank you. i was puking so hard that i couldn't breathe... there's nothing left down there lol.

the thing i'm worried about is dehydration. when i drink something like water, coffee or tea, i end up puking it up. and as a bonus on that, i have diarrhea so the liquids i had several hours ago are just getting shot through without being absorbed.
is there a way i can get hydrated without drinking water?

    iv drip

Outside of that, just try to drink. Sooner or later you'll keep some liquid down. Try light teas, water, gatorade.

Just make sure the color isn't red.

Yeah, its nasty stuff, last time i got seriously drunk, i.e. so hammered i didnt know my own name, i was puking bile up for almost two hours none stop, i felt so weak i was basically lying on the bathroom floor with my head propped on the toilet seat and my mouth pointed down at the pot. After two hours of puking what felt like pure battery acid i was empty, but my stomach kept going through the motions of puking although there was nothing there to bring up, it feels pretty uncomfortable.

Its not nice experience is it

Just got over a week of some terrible virus here in Colombia.

ADVISE; if you puke so violently that you feel something hairy in your mouth, swallow hard because that´s your A'hole.

I've done that before but it wasn't caused by the flu or other sickness. i was working on a farm in kentucky chopping tobacco and had a heat stroke after about 6 hours of being in the sun without drinking anything or eating anything for the past 12 hours. My stomach was empty but refused to stock going through the motions so I ended up spitting up bile and then my mouth started burning. Had to travel 4 miles on the back of a john deer gator before I could get any fluids in my body. 2 hours later I was back in the fields enjoying the sunset.

I thought the pancreas makes bile, then transports it to the stomach to help with the digestion of food.
