    AGP Aperture - No Option in bios

    Ther is no option for me to change the agp aperture in my bios..i updated them and installed the via 4in1's.still no option. so how else can i go about changing the aperture size?

    its not there then you probably need to do a bios update...but you said you updated somethin(did you exactly mean a bios update...i mean flashing the bios?)

    anyways that motherboard of yours seems to have very less(virtually none) information on asus's website as well as while searchin on google...seems they discontinued it or somethin...

    u sure thats the correct mobo model number u provided?

    yep, i checked what it is useing Sisoftware Sandra program. tells everything about your system. by the way its a sony vaio PCV-RX650 system that i have.

    It's an OEM motherboard stripped of features. Sony wants it that way.

    You could try flashing it with the standard P4B266 BIOS, but it's risky.

    well i guess i shouldnt risk flashing the bios just so i can change aperture...

    yea...like 1 of those Dell Mobos which dont give u any CMOS options to change except the Clock and Date.
