    K7VMM+ Problem

Are there any known issues with the K7VMM+ board? Installed it this morning, installed XP and seemed okay but then in device manager the drivers for modem, lan and vga were missing, tried updating drivers from the CD. It seemed okay until I did the VGA driver. This crashed the PC completely. Restarted using last known good config, tried installing modem driver and this didn't work. I get "The device cannot start (code 20)" message.

Is it me or are these known issues with this board? s there any advice anyone can give me, perhaps some settings in the BIOS which need changing?

    Cheers

    Ben

You're not supposed to "browse" for drivers with ECS boards. You need to actually run the CD setup and reboot when prompted. Do this at least 3 times. Remove your video card drivers before you do.
