    I don't htink it will be as much of a system hog as most people have been saying. The beta version ran just fine on my pc and I got 20fps.

    1.2ghz T'Bird
    Geforce2ti
    256mb of ram(at the time I was testing it)

    And by the time the full version comes out the code should be more defined, and the game should run faster.

    doom 3 has a fall release time, don't know why it was delayed, but i'm not surprised it is

    duke nukem forever, *might* come out this year, but once again, i doubt it will

    dUke 4 Ever has suffered massively because theyve changed the engine like three times

    Im quite looking forward to Doom 3 even if it does look liek i'll need plenty of spare pairs of boxers shorts when playing...

    Roll on release date

    DOOM 3 IZ GONNA ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am already messing my pants with anticipation

    On Payday I am putting in my game Pre Order at Tuxgames!

    Also I was doing some reading on some sites about Maxis Simcity 4 and that should have a port for Linux in the near future. Just a weeee piece of news.

    I`ve never heard of a Beta version....though I still have the Alpha Build.
    It was on some newsgroups and it came as a 300MB download.
    you could play 3 levels and from the console you could run the intro which was quite astonishing!

    I saw the beta version in action at an E3 convention.. ( wasnt actually there but i'd love to go to one )

    The game really does look like it's gonna be 1337
