$300 can only afford you a Low Quality LCD

are you sure you want a LCD?

why not get a good 19" Flat CRT for the same price?

if you want a good LCD I would go with a Samsung 171 MP.
But then again it`s 750$ here in US....

so you may want to put some money away instead of buying a15 LCD low quality, like Allgamer said.

    Why not a NEC Fe99xx for 300$??

    i love mine.

does quality really matter when all you are doing is running audio programs?

KMart and WalMart has some Samsung(i think) for $300 something

15" bug as i said quality is ..... lets just say, it leaves a lot do desire off.

so yeah you get your mediocre views, and stuff, but that's about it

you get for what you paid for

Unfortunately, $300 will only get you an entry-level LCD at best. I'd go for a nice flat-screen CRT monitor. You can get nice KDS 17" ones from Wal-Mart for less than that.

I know, I read that. Thanks for the tip . A 17" one won't be as bad to lug around now and again though.

I hate flat panels for thier price and poor quality compared to CRT. But the reason above is a **** good reason to purchase a flat pannel as a second monitor if you attend lan parties a lot.

Since your going to use it for gaming , you need to keep"response time" or "pixel-response rate" in consideration.
    The KDS 15" Rad-5 boasts 25ms, ViewSonic VE 155 , is 30ms . The Samsung 151S , which I think has the brightest screen , is 30ms .

    RocketMatch has a good point

and that's Exactely why i don't like LCD much

    cuz it feels... Sluggggish

    due the slow optical responsetime

so if you can find a fast one, it should not be too bad

OH make sure that it has at least a refresh rate of 70 Hz and higher

some cheapo LCD can not change Hz

and for PICKY people like me anything on the 60 Hz range hurts the eyes
