sorry dude, but with those specs, you should be getting at least 7000 in 03 (maybe more)
if that's an 05 score, that's very respectable, but for 03, it's nothing special.

I did'nt say it was special. Its just a basic score without o/c.
The post was more about replying to downloading and installing.

Looks good to me, but I'm no expert. Do you find the FX 5900 a bit noisey, thats why I went for the radeon x700 silent version

Hooya!
I have an FX5900 and it is not noisy at all...in fact its silent.
It performs admireably also for a lst generation Video card...and it doeswell with all the latest Nvidia drivers as well.

Thx! Still have yet to try 475/800.
My Gainward 5900 isn't noisy at all either, however my previous 5900 XT made by AOpen was very noisy when the temps went up. Not to mention when the temps went up even more the plastic fan guard thing would vibrate against the heatsink and create a very strange annoying sound.

Hooya!
I have the EGVA model....
My friend down the hall just went to a computer store and picked up his new 7800GT video card. IT IS SWEET! Its the BFG model with OC'ing and copper heatsink fan.... some card... about twice as heavy as mine and bigger too.. with all the extra S-vidio cables and extras..... He paid around $389.00 for it... a nice chunk of cash would't you say??

That is a nice chunk of cash, to expensive for me. It makes the £80 I paid my Radoen x700 looking like a good buy.
