    Can't do a BIOS update

I have a Acrop 6A815EPD. To do the update, I have to add a program and a 500 KB .bin file to a boot disk (Since I have 2000, I was using a 98 boot disk), but do have enough room to add the above files. What programs are essential to a 98 boot disk so I have room for the update?

It might be simplier to add the flasher and .bin/.rom file to a second floppy. Boot to the 98 disk. Change floppies and then run the flasher and bios file...

I'll try MR COMPUTER's idea as soon as the 98se file finishes (under 3 KB on cable )

Glad it worked for you. You may not see any changes in the bios.
Sometimes updates are bug fixes and support for newer processors/hardware only...
