New Intel Compilers Ease Hyper-Threading
So does this mean that Hyperthreading does not automaticly run in the background (for increased performance). You have to program a program to hyper thread? Isn't this kind of like SSE1 and 2??
I know that Hyperthreading makes the processor run at full capacity more or less like a multiproccessor system. Or some shiz like that.

Yep... it's just like with dual processors, apps have to be programmed for multithreading in order for it to work...
Intel offloading hardware effectiveness on the programmer again...
