Printer: Entire document not being printed correctly...

The problem occurs when I print a webpage. Most of the page will print but for some reason the right margin of the page gets cut off. It's no more than a centimeter or so, but if the page contains much text, I will miss some of the points mentioned in the article becuase of the distracting cut-offs and a few letters here and there that are missing (or where a period might have ended a sentence).

Is there a setting that can help me re-adjust the margins so that ALL text is included or is this just something that I will need to contend with due to website variations?

Some web pages offer printable pages, does this happen with all sites or just some? You could copy and paste into word then print or delete your printer and install it again or check printer properties for utilities but probably some glitch with the web page.

Every printer has a maximum printable page width and height, or if you prefer, minimum left/right and top/bottom margins. The unprintable region is referred to as the "dead zone".

Try reducing the left and right margins in Printer Setup. Start with each at 0.5", then reduce each in 0.1" increments to 0.4". Continue reducing each one until you get some kind of pop-up message that you have exceeded the limit for your printer. Sometimes the pop-up will offer to "fix" the setting to the minumum margin size.

If the web page content is still too wide to print now, it's not the printer's fault.

Thank you both for your suggestions and comments. I'll try adjusting the printer's settings.

If you can't get it to print right, there is an option. You can always hit print screen and paste the file as a bitmap into a draw program, then print from there.

Print with landscape option rather than portrait.
