    Long file names

    Is there a way to burn long filenames onto a cd using nero, i tried all the different settings (iso 9660, joliet etc.) but still the filename lenght is limited.

    yes the Joliet is suppose to take care of that

    when you use Joliet make sure you don't have the other options enabled for the ISO mode

    Also the lenght limit is 250 characters

    ... and remember that the file name includes all the subdirectories on the path to the file - total limit 250.

    I tried joliet and the total number of characters is nowhere near 250. I guess i will experiment some more.

    Check if your Windoze OS is not using 8.3 but instead Long File names
