Anytime BigPoppa....this is getting very amusing with all the threads now about spelling/cursing/ and now pronunciation. Maybe we should make a whole new forum...."Language."

Like Ammok said, we're posting from all over this square globe (If its gonna haveends and corners, might as well be). So ofcourse dialects and common tounges are going to enter what we write. One of my degrees is "English," but you wouldn't see me coming down on anyone. I say misspell all you want. Enjoy freadum and more powure two u!
Exately and this is how the internet should be
a real International place
where everyond can bring their local slangs to share with the whole wide world
if you like it use it, if you don't then ignore it

You Americans take the biscuit. You colonise the world in the most insidious fashion,
Yes I will admit, in a business like manner we Americans are much more insidious about how we quietly establish our power in other countries. Because that does seem to work better then stomping into other countries for the past 1000 plus years and saying "WE ARE IN CHARGE NOW, PAY YOUR TAXES TO THE CROWN"
What countries have we colonized? America??? Gee who was it wanted to colonize the America's but had it backfire in their face because of their oppressive manner of treating the colonist's and taxing them till they revolted. had the fat pompous aristocracy not been so greeeeeeedy their just might be a different flag flying over here today.
And possibly I'd then be able to spell and speak the queens language correctly. bangers anyone???

I hope this doesn't turn into another us (as in "are you with us") vs. them. Like I said before, this is an amusing little argument. But, lets not make stupid misspelled words want to wrap our hands around the other's throat. Lets have fun....Great! Look what you guys made me do!!!!! NOW I SOUND LIKE A TREE HUGGING HIPPEY ! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!

gibsinep - after living off and on for over 14 years in a country you tend to pick up a little of it's native tongue and I instantly recognized it as gibberish. AltaVista is famous for it's hilarious translations that have native speakers ROTFL and I made the assumption AltaVista was at it again. Word to the wise, don't use it for important communication or you could end up getting looks like you had a gibsinep sticking out of your forehead.

weel, when they first came out I used to let spellcheck change any words it didn't like, end results was often very funny. Stopped doing that now cos they got quite a bit smarter.
