    Windows XP Pro Problem

    Currently i have 10Mpbs LAN Card install on my pc, but everytime Windows XP start, it start to enable for network connection for LAN, i dunnot connect to LAN and i am currently using dial-up modem for internet only. It takes some time on loading.

    So, how to disable it LAN network connection for startup? goto administrative tools--->services ? and what to do?

    Just assign an IP address for TCP/IP on the NIC. Use:

    192.168.1.1
    255.255.255.0
    MS MCP, MCSE

    Just remove your LAN card. You are using a dialup modem AND a LAN card?? Correct? Just go inside your system and remove your LAN card.

    OR go to .....Control Panel.......Network connections.......there you will see your LAN card.....RIGHT click on it and then select "DISABLE"
