I am using Eagle brand GF4 MX440 64MB DDR Ram...
How about this product? What can i say is unreliable, i got lots of grandmother old story to tell about this brand if u want me to explain more about this product...
1. Slow boot time, make my PC boot time between 55seconds to 1minutes. Currently running Windows XP. My previous GF2MX200 doesnt have any problem, it takes 40-45secons only...
2. Windows XP loading screen flick few times using this card.
3. Have to ON the power supply for few seconds ,after that i can only switch on my PC else it dun have any display...
4. ...____, TO BE CONTINUE.
oops, kinda frustrating ler to have this brand...

I too bought a Geforce4-440 and its on its way back to the people I bought it from as I write this. I got this card onsale off a pricewatch deal for 59US plus 10bucks for shipping and all I can say is even at a total of a 69 dollar price tag it isnt worth close to this much This mx card runs every game I tried it on like complete ****. I put my old geforce 256 32ddr back in and it runs most games faster and with much much better picture quality then the Geforce 4 did. I am getting a credit and for a few dollars more getting a geforce3 ti. Anyone looking to save money as I was should really think about getting a older high end chip set rather then trying to get the newest low end geforce 4.

How could the Geforce 256 DDR-RAM bet a Geforce 4 Mx-440 64 mb DDR-RAM?

Heh I'm sure in FPS it didnt I was just very very disappointed in the geforce 4 mx. Its just a very poor chip set. I have a GF2-MX in one of my other machines and I allways liked it but this new flavor of MX doesnt come close to living up to the GF2.

I am "happy" owner of this card.
My sample is actually GF4 MX440 with MX460 chip!
Memory is 5ns Hynix (something like EX Hyndai) and default (bios) settings are 270MHz core / 400MHz memory!
Rated frequencies for MX460 are 300/550 MHz!
My sample can be overclocked heavily but heat dissipation is probably too big...
Eagle is "brand" famous for cheap cards. This is achieved usually with savings on memory chips which are currently most expensive. As is in this case.
At any way, this is best buy (price/performance) because it is better than any GF2 and NV17 has dual 350MHz ramdac (Nview) and hardware DVD decoding.
Flickering at boot procedure is actually switching between two ramdac's when system tests what is connected on graphic card. Of course this takes few seconds...

I heard that the Radeon 8500 has some problems or something and doesn't perform as good as a GF4Ti4200. I'll stick with the Ti4200.

I'm gaming with an old-school GeForce 2 Ti that I just bought, 64MB DDR, TV-out (S-video). The card is unbelievable! I get just over 5000 3DMarks with just my XP 1800+ overclocked to 2100!

My brother has a GF4 MX440 with an AMD Duron 1.2 Ghz and he gets 4500 3dmarks. He is almost catching up to you.

Might be for pure performance off the Ge4, cause you know it's not coming from the Duron.
Let's see it do some maxed grahpics in Medal of Honor, or Spiderman... 1024x768 at least, full-out please.
I don't think it's going to keep up.
