over the weekend i tried the 4041 drivers- my mark 2001 se scores went [not over clocked ] from 8400 to 9600... heck of a jump...if i over clock my msi g4 4200 card i can hit 10900... darn near 11,000. the only problens i have run into are with the impressions games-caesar3,zeus/posiden,and pharoh/cleopatra- it seems like it is trying to display 2 screens at once. the other games i tried- dungeon siege,gta3,morrow wind, empire earth all run fine. i got no frame rate increase in dungeon siege, but morrow wind got about a 40-50 % frame rate increase. my system..k7s5a mobo win xp home [start screen says windows xp multi media work station ?] amd 1600xp, 256 mb pc 2100 ram, maxtor 30 gb 7200 rpm ata 100 hdd,msi g4 4200 128 mb video card, pioneer dvd drive, hercules muse xl sound card. have a great day! sam

Me, or sam?
Yeah, I know I'll get a better score with a better cpu. You've mentioned that to me before. Waiting for either Hammer or nForce2, though.

Evil Lurks
Was getting lockups in MAFIA (Abit KT7A/GF3Ti200/WXP), tried to go back to v30.82, no lockups since then
In desperate attempt to squeeze their drivers to maximum, nVIDIA blew it up once again
Tonz of people all over the Net reporting of problems with v40.41 ... me was no exception
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers

Strange, I'm doing fine with the Det.40. Wonder what makes it or breaks it...

I don't get it. I tried the 40.41's and my 3dmark scores went way down. I was at 11,000 with 30.82 and I only got 9300 with the 40.41's. How is everyone else seeing such a major increase?
