BOOT PROBLEM
already my brohas another boot problem..
i get to the start normally screen but it doesnt start normally also try to use safe mode but doesnt work.. heres the error on blue screen :O
it talks about new hardware/software but nothing new was installed
but this was also there..

its running winxp
i tried using the recovery console already but it says that there are 1 or more unrecoverable problems

ok i tried it again, recovery managed to fix it this time, and everything finished.. when i exit and reboot same thing happens again
same error w/ unmountable

I got the same problem when I tryed to install an old scanner driver..Hell I couldnt even get into safe mode.. I had no choice but to format and reinstall

You have to boot again from the CD
then select repair on the 2nd installation screen.
that's about the easiest way to fix it.
there's something real wrong with the partition from your last crash, so bunch of stuff has gone lost.

i was able to recovery the hard drive files
BUT..
now there is another problem. the system constantly says that there's a problem with windows exporer. does anyone have any ideas about this one?

If your using 2 strips of ram try them one at a time or borrow a strip somewhere to try see if explorer settles down. Could be bad ram and easy enough fix to try.

just popped in the xp cd and chose to upgrade

that's exactely what i meant
during the 2nd install screen if you select Repair, it will not over write your stuff, it'll only fix what is wrong with only the system files.
anyways... upgrade / re-install, it's the same thing.
as long as you don't select New install, or Format then re-install, then it's good to go
