yeah an ex.... Co....worker of mine lost her wife (ex-wife), cuz of that.

i'm lukcy my wifey supports me all the way.

you must be thinking... "that's too good to be true"

and you are right!, there's a catch.

i'll have to watch for the kids when i'm at home.

so after a while i've managed to SUPER MULTITASKs between computer, and kids care.

you almost have to be like Flash, or superman for that man.

specially when you are playing a game, online, in a death match, and your kids want this and that and that, and yells, and cries, and fights, and flood the house, and... etc

    I've lost three so far..

    1. Gf was found one night with mouse cord around her neck.

    2. gf was found with keyboard jammed down her throat!!

    3. I found bf on floor with a monitor where his head was and lots of blood.

I have a 4th, a gf and I am keeping close eyes and camera on my demonic pc...

Women are very sensitive about anybody or anything that their significant other apparently likes more than them. They can (and usually do) get excessively jealous where anything seems to be coming between them. The trick is, to manage the situation to where the wifey.GF or whatever...the female in the equation is satisfied and convienced that they are always # 1. Anybody that can do that, is one ****ova partner!!!

Nope. If anything, my ex-BF and I used to fight for computer time.

    Love me, love my PC

My ex-wife used to hound me about being on a computer all the time. This is long before the internet. I don't know why. Being on a computer or watching sports were things done in the house. I got hounded so much, I got into activities "outside" the house!

I hear it every day. As soon as you come home you get on that stupid computer, or you go get the laptop and get on it. Well, I just got off work. I'm tired. I don't feel like the lovey dovey ****. I'm not in a great mood. I just drove 36 miles home.

    "Where's my turkey pot pie!!!!"

    j/k

Though I do get hounded for it. Wasn't as bad when baseball season was in full swing. Atleast we had something to do outside.

I couldn't get near my systems when I was married.

If I did she would sit on my lap.

If I heard "Your not paying Attention to me" once I heard it a thousand times.

    So No wife anymore.

And now I have money again.

And I can do what I want, when I want with no B******ng.

Maybe the spouse needs their own machine to keep off our ****

Honestly, we have 4 machines, and no one complains about it. We even get away from them from time to time, you know

OK people . . .the secret

    The secret is simple . . . .

Satisfy her every needs, but be warned this can get VERY exhausting/expensive.

The benefits are excellent, my girlfriend even helps me build PC's (holds a screwdriver and talks)

And if you have a hard to please girlfriend, tell her to go shopping for something . . .they always love that and take 4 times longer than you expect . .plenty of quality PC time

Anyway, if you're losing friends/partners through spending time on your PC then maybe you should take a step back and look at just how much time/attention you are spending on the PC against other things . . maybe you DO have a problem !!
take a look at some real hardware mods:
