ok, i put the system fan on the back of the CPU case, and my mobo tells me warning fan speed = 2760RPM (which seems a little low). How can improve this?

    hmm... a mini case
your only option might just be the PC Speaker place in the front of the case.

like AG said I usually l get case fans for $3-5 at most - mount 'em in the PC speaker mount behind the front face plate - you won't get monitoring from the mobo tho

drill a few holes in the front to get a better draw - leave a slot or two open in the back up top - moves the air pretty good

but then again I don't usually have more than 3 drives at most, don't o'clock my video cards, and when o'clocking cpus get the biggest fattest heatsink and fan you can find.
