    win2k backup

    Hi
In win2k can you use the backup facility to backup the whole of your hardrive and say burn it to a bootable CD so you can restore the system or have i read the data in the help file wrong.

The Windows backup utility is not quite as easy to use for a full disk image backup as you thought.

I prefer to use Norton Ghost and burn to a CD for an image restore.

Agreed. Although you can use Backup to created a QIC file and store it on a CDR, you cannot REstore it via bootable CD or floppy.

Ghost and Drive Image 2002 are best for this.
