DW.exe does anyone know what this does?

Hello all,

I am having a problem with this exe it is making my CUP run at 100% all the time. I believe the dw stands for download ware but I’m not sure what it does.

If it is unimportant I would like to uninstall it or delete it if can not figure out how to uninstall it. The only thing that has me concerned is it is I do not have a clue where it came from or what it does.

Any info on this file/program would be helpful.

I just wanted to say thanks again. I found 4 more parasites after using this link http://and.doxdesk.com/parasite/ which your link pointed to.

After finding and removing all the parasites I could find last night, I checked my task manager and this morning... and there it was again grr...

I download Spybot S&D then gave it a try. Well not only did it find who knows how much other stuff that I didn't find before but it also found a setting in my registry that downloads and installs DW automatically.

Hopefully it is gone for good now.
