Cheers P4, wasn't sure if the terminology was the same as jelly over here is eaten with ice cream and is of a solid consistency.

I just can't believe some of you cynics out there can speak disrespectfully of the wonders of marmite. Marmite is a wonderful by product of the beer making industry and is packed with taste, as well as the odd vitamin or two. Its also great on a thick buttered piece of toast just before tinned Italian tomatoes go on. Not only does it bring out the piquance of the toms but it leaves that certain little something in your mouth that sets you up for something like scrambled eggs with a dash of tabasco. What other such versatile product can pack so much into a small jar ?

And as for yer corned beef have you ever seen how they make that stuff?

Oh on the peanut butter thing, it's also very tasty when eaten with a stick of celery. Just dip it in and gunge out a huge dob and cruch away. Yummy. Also good for your heart.

Ok, if we are onto the habit of most grotesque foods available to the public how about:

fresh sushi (raw fish, seaweed that kinda stuff) in a rich gravy sauch, poured over with Lee and Perrins Worcester sauce and chips on the side... hahaha... yuk..

    Another from the USA:

    Mexican sandwich:
Hamburger bun, with louis Rich beef fajita strips, pace pacante, jalapenos, lettuce, Ranch dressing, with a dab of sour cream on the top of the bun. Yummy Sounds gross don't it? But it taste good

    Veggie sandwhich:
tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, black olives, pickles, and ranch dressing, sqeeuzed between two pieces of toast.

And last but not least, a grilled cheese sandwhich with a side of pickles and ranch dressing.

As you can tell I like to eat ranch dressing with almost anything

Methinks we need a sandwich bar forum. Someone with a bit of nous could set up an internet sandwich company and we could have them beamed down by those scientists from Cambridge who've just done the teleport thingy. I don't relish the relish, however
