    Win98 Boot up procedure

    Hi fellow surfers

i am having trouble with the boot up screen because there is a very vital file tht is out of reach because of some reason.
Anyway I have tested three methods and came up with my final conclusion and that is to use the Win98 CD and search through the database and extract the sys.com file HINT:Look in the help.txt on your startup disk for more information once booted, the option is the third.

Can anyone throw some tips my way is to how I install my WIn98 from the rescue disk CD F: CD WIN98 then setup /iv/id//ie/is/IW

    Any help would be appreciated

Startup with a 98 bootdisk at the A: prompt type SYS C: that will replace the initial dos system files you might need. What methods have you tried that brings you to this conclusion so we don't repeat ourselves?
