Cops make the difference!!! get high stakes.

Why is it everyone( including myslef) finds getting chased from the cops some much fun?

    Diablo was nice.

you get to do somethin you never could do in real life(you could and end up in jail!! ) The thrill the chase, the fancy cars.

    even for me!! (sounds stupid)

porsche unleashed is such a cool game because you can upgrade your car with different components and buy second-hand cars cheap of the car market place, it starts off somewhere in the 1940's then makes its way up to 2000, its great...

Go get it, your opinion tho, better gameplay and GFX or getting chased by the cops

Only problem in porsche unleased is there is a glicth. Buy a used car fix it soit is at 100% then sell it. You get more money back compared to what you payed to buy/fix it. So you can just rack up cash that way.

I have to agree with everyone voting for NFS3 - but it wont work on my XP machine, so just creating Win98 partition especially for it!!!!!!!

I have only played NFS 4 HS and NFS 5 PU, but my vote goes for NFS 5. The graphics are awesome, but more importantly, I thought the driving physics were much better. The physics do fall short when it comes to taking damage, but then again you aren't suppossed to crash your $200,000+ Porsche. I gotta try NFS 4 again, the excitement in getting chased by the cops completely escaped me.

I have to say im a fan of the NFS series. I have:

    NFS SE
    NFS II SE
    NFS III
    NFS IV

I think there is a NFS V and a few other newer ones which i havent played but out of those 4 definately High Stakes. I have heaps of extra cars and tracks, most of which i cant use because you can only have something like 50 cars in the Cars folder and have to replace the original tracks with custom ones. I have made a few cars myself and have tweaked the performance or changed the textures of most the other cars.
I bought NFS SE in 1996, II SE i got with a steering wheel (i lent the game to my friend next door and his baby sister shoved it through the cracks in his case along with about 100 other cds so now it is unplayable ). Got III in 1998 and IV in 1999.
