    bios downloads

    How do you know what to download as far as the file name and can you tell on the bios chip the numbers? I know that you have to be right or the computer is gone .... any help would be helpful thanks

    You need to know the manufacturer and exact model of the board, including revision number. Just go to the manufacturer's website and download the proper bios update. They should have everything you need there.
