    System Would Not Boot

I have put all the pieces of the computer together but when I turn it on, the monitor did not detect a signal because its just a black screen.

I have the video card, motherboard, cpu, cpu fan, ram, and HD all plugged in. I tried switching video card but that wasn't the problem, switch ram and that wasn't problem. Do you guys know what it might be?

Cpu fan runs but its not booting.

No beeps or anything. I change the CMOS to enable the thing but still it would not boot.

Loosen all of the motherboard screws and shift the board a little. Leave them loose for now. Reseat the video card firmly and try again. If it boots, snug the screws down - don't torque them. If you have those paper washers, use them.

Yeah, I got it to work, thank.

The CMOS was set on clear at default, which was kinda stuid of them. Also, the motherboard jumper was set PC-133 Ram and not DDR-Ram. I thought every should be ready since I bought the combo kit.

Now I somehow have to increase the ckock speed. I bought XP1900 but it says 1200Mhz. I thought it should be 1500Mhz.
    Any thought on this?
