    XP ctrl-alt-delete

In my xp all of a sudden when I click ctrl-alt-delete I get the task manager instead of the box showing you what is running. How do I get the old box back and get rid of the task manager?

The old box WAS task manager, just a different tab showing.

    Click on the Applications tab.

    OR,

Did you switch to the Windows 2000 Classic style for your desktop? Win2K shows the Task Manager Windows Security box but WinXP goes right into the Applications running window in the XP desktop style.

I have found that if you change the way you login, that changes what comes up when you type ctrl+alt+delete...seems stupid but its true.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've
wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went
to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.
