    AMD Model 8, what is it?

    Hmms, just read on the manufacturer of my Motherboard (Soltek sl-75KAV) that the newest bios supports AMD model 8 cpu's, what are they?...

    Wouldn't think so as XP support has been existing on these boards for several months...

    Model 8 ?

    Model 8 was a motherboard multiplier settings change.

    Go to this site and scroll down to AMD and you can see all the models with changes.
