    macking cpu heatsink flatter

    there was a thread last year about sanding down a heatsink for better heat transfer. i cant seem to find it. any ideas?

    Yupp, lapping is the way to go
    Just be sure that you dont lap it and then use it on an old celeron or similiar where the pins are visible from the top, if you are unlucky you will short the CPU
