    Best Slot 1 MotherBoard

Who still makes a real good stable slot 1 mother board?

No one anymore, actually. The only ones you'll find were made 2 years ago and have been gathering dust somewhere. Avoid the Intel Seattle board at all costs.

The Abit BE6 and BF6 are both good boards. So is the Microstar. The BE6 has UDMA ports and is probably the better buy.

Abit BH6 v1.1, BF6, BE6-II (BF6 with RAID) - avoid BE6, the first version, at all costs. This was Abit's first attempt at hacking a DMA controller onto a board - it really sucked.

If you can find it, SH6 is probably decent too, but expensive. You can also choose VIA offerings, if you are so inclined.
