I found I did have a problem with the installation of my Soundblaster software.
So far running OK since I fixed that so I'll keep my fingers crossed that that was all that was wrong.

I've put together my first system but its got stability problems. I'm not overclocking and CPU temps seem OK - around 50 deg C.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there a way I can check my CPU temp from within Windows 98SE and not just through the BIOS on booting up?

Ive got an Epox 8K7A M/B with Award BIOS.
